Week of March 7
This is a busy week. This past Monday, I had the privilege of performing with two of the best jazz players in Ohio. Paul Ferguson on trombone from Cleveland, and Byron Rooker on sax from Columbus joined Paul Martin, Steve Berry and me for the monthly Big Bands and All That Jazz concert in Ashland.
Tonight (Wed., March 9) the Steve Brown Trio will be playing at the City Square Steakhouse in Wooster. These guys have live jazz every Wednesday, and I’m one of several groups in the regular rotation. Joining me for will be Robert Tomasetti from Wooster on bass and Andy Loess from Massillon on trumpet.
Friday night I will be going solo as part of the annual “Girls’ Night Out” event in downtown Loudonville. I will be playing at the Main Street Cafe from 6 – 9 pm. Stop in for great food and your favorite requests.
